The Andhra Pradesh state government will conduct a door-to-door fever survey to find early-stage Influenza A illnesses and administer the required care.

The states health department is concentrating on identifying severe acute respiratory illnesses (SARI) in response to the ICMRs advisory .The volunteers who were instrumental in finding contacts and spotting patients early during the Covid-19 crisis will be responsible for conducting the fever survey.

According to an initial evaluation by the government, people are visiting YSR Village Health Clinics for treatment since flu and fever cases are quite common in rural areas. Health workers are monitoring individuals with flu-like symptoms and testing blood samples for diseases like dengue, malaria, typhoid, and others.

The health department has warned district administrations to concentrate on rural medical practitioners (RMP) to prevent prescribing large doses of antibiotics, which will have adverse effects according to the ICMR study.

On Monday, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy conducted a health review and ordered the authorities to expedite the initiative involving family physicians.

Physicians blame the public for the rapid increase in flu infections. The leading cause of the rise in viral fever is that people disregarded the Covid-19 standards. Individuals need to practice basic hygiene. Dr. Koka Mohana, a physician in Vijayawada, advised people to wash their hands frequently and use masks to protect themselves from viruses.
